How to set up at home for online classes
Students with us this season, whether signed up for online or in-person classes, can access more dance for free, by joining us online any other time during the week that their class is offered (in addition to the one they're registered for)! Email us by noon that day so we can get things set up, then go to your online account > Files, for a list of class times and Zoom links.
REMINDER: If students do attend online, please plan to be there for the whole class if possible, just like they would if they were in-studio, and keep the camera on so we can see how it's going.
Here's a quick guide to attending classes virtually. Students will need:
Sign on a few minutes early so that you can be let into the Zoom room just before class starts, and we can get any tech issues out of the way. Once we begin, I will not be near the computer and may be unable to admit late arrivals.
Thank you so much! Email me at [email protected] if you have any questions at all!

Here's a quick guide to attending classes virtually. Students will need:
- A tablet, laptop or other screen (the bigger the better), and a webcam or camera. Set it up so that the dancer has the best view possible, so if this means we can only see part of them, that's ok.
- A reliable internet connection.
- A bit of space with a floor that is safe to dance on. If you want to recreate our "dance box" at home on your floor with masking tape, the instructions are below! You can make yours fit your space, with five to seven feet across being optimum.
- For tap students (if you have tap shoes), a board to tap on to protect your floor.
