Your little person will love our fun and focused dance classes!
Children in our dance classes explore and play, get to know each other, and learn basic technique. They tiptoe with scarves, jump through hula hoops, sashay with partners and generally have a blast. No pressure; just good times!
Littles and Bigs Dance It Up!
Do you ever wish you could just hang out and play with your little one for a few minutes, away from the laundry or dishes or impending bed time?
In this 40 minute class, you'll be dancing and laughing with your tot during group and partner activities that get you both spinning, sliding, shaking and jumping. Moving between group, partner, and kids-only activities, there is plenty of variety and even the occasional chance to catch your breath and say hello to the other adults. Music is appropriate for kids, but is also listen-to-able by adults.
Whether you are a parent, aunt/uncle, grandparent or guardian of a child ages 18 months to three years, this class is for you. Dress code is shirts and leggings, or dresses, and bare feet, and costumes are welcome!
Tippy Toes and Tendus
Does your four-to-six year old love to dance and spin in your living room? Do they get all googly-eyed when they see a ballerina on TV? Is your child comfortable joining class without a parent or guardian in attendance? Then we have the class for them!
These young dancers point their feet and stretch their legs in basic ballet poses, and run and jump across the floor with contemporary dance moves. Fast and slow, big and tiny, twisting and reaching; we explore all kinds of movement during this 40 minute class!
Students wear close-fitting tops and leggings (or leotard and tights if they wish). Skirts and capes are welcome too! Ballet slippers are optional; otherwise, bare feet are the way to go!
Ballet and Boogie
Is your six year old (or older five year old) excited about learning dance technique? Are they ready to focus and be challenged?
In our Ballet & Boogie class, these young dancers learn ballet and contemporary dance exercises, and also learn movement concepts through fun and engaging movement games. That's a lot to pack into 55 minutes!
Students are asked to wear close-fitting tops and long leggings (or leotard and tights if they wish). Ballet slippers are optional, otherwise bare feet are the way to go!
